A growing and ambitious business operating in the exciting and rapidly changing energy and utilities sector have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Design Engineer.

Reporting to an experienced Design Engineer, this role provides the ideal starting point to a long term structured career path in power system design, with training and mentoring provided to achieve engineering registration and full membership of the IET.

You will be responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of power systems design projects, completion of detailed design drawings and estimating schedules as well as liaising with customers and managing relationships across allocated projects.

To fulfil this role you will ideally have an Electrical Engineering Degree in Power Systems; Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office Applications and experience of design software such as Windebut, Amtech and AutoCAD etc as well as strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A full driving licence is required.
