Our Client is a leading environmental and engineering consultancy specialising in a variety of markets and disciplines. They have a wide and diverse range of projects and can offer exciting and challenging opportunities. They are currently looking for a Climate Change Specialist to contribute to their growing Environmental Management Team.
An exciting role and where you will be responsible for specialist contributions to projects related to climate change including technical and economic evaluation of policy and strategy measures at a European, national, regional and local level. You would be expected to have experience in project management and management of multi-disciplinary teams of consultants in order to deliver climate change policy projects within time, quality and budgets. This role will also involve business development activities across public and private sectors and hence you will also be developing proposals for climate change policy development projects.
Ideally, 5 years experience in the above and a BSc/MSc or economics qualification is needed. Experience in developing policies and strategies for public sector clients and European Commission on climate change adaptation is going to help. Experience in technical and economic evaluation of measures for adapting to impacts of climate change and good knowledge of climate change policy at UK and EU level is also required.
