Job: Renewable energy project manager, Beresford Blake Thomas

Our Clients Renewables and Power Sector business has an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join the team in their Glasgow office. Working within the Civils & Infrastructure Department in , the ideal candidate is expected to be at or near Chartered Engineer level and will need significant communication skills to work successfully with clients. You will act as the Project Manager in Glasgow facing clients in the Renewables and Power Sector in the UK, working with staff in other offices in throughout the UK to deliver schemes. The work will involve co-ordination of other disciplines within the Glasgow office to deliver the services mostly under existing Framework Agreements with major Power companies.

The work typically will cover projects for Renewable Energy in the key sector of Onshore Wind and expand into Hydro and Offshore Renewables. There are also opportunities to become involved in consultancy services for Power Generation markets including Coal, Gas, CHP and Waste to Energy and for Power Transmission markets.

You will be educated to Degree level or equivalent and it is essential that you have reached or are working towards Chartership. The ideal candidate will benefit from having an engineering background, ideally coming from the Renewable Energy & Power market sector.

Knowledge of MS Project and MS Office would be an advantage.

It is essential that you have a full UK Driving License.
