Job: Principal Environmental Consents Consultant for Energy Projects, Beresford Blake Thomas

As demand for energy related environmental services increases, Our Clients business is seeking to grow its energy consultancy team, focusing on environmental consents for energy projects.

 Ideally educated to degree level (or equivalent) with a masters degree in an environment-related subject

 Experience of Environmental Impact Assessments and consent processes for major energy companies

 It will be an advantage if you have experience of environmental consenting for wind generation

 Experience of strong business growth, work winning and team leadership

 It will be an advantage if you are a member of an appropriate professional institute

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK without restriction

We are looking for an experienced consultant to lead our team addressing environmental consents for energy projects. You would be based preferably in Glasgow, but Edinburgh will be considered. The person appointed would report to the Head of Energy and Regulation and work to develop a range of projects addressing environmental aspects of energy developments. Key areas of business within the team include:

 conventional power stations

 renewables projects
