Job: Technical Director - Environmental Solutions, Resource Group Limited

This is a senior role within the Warrington Environmental Solutions Team to provide a technical overview primarily in the disciplines of EIA/SEA related disciplines. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with other Technical Managers and Technical Directors in the Environmental Solutions team and liaise with other sectors/offices to ensure a high quality, consistent approach to technical outputs and client management.

You will need a degree preferably an MSc and ideally be a Member of a recognised institute such as IEMA, CIWEM or IEEM.

Up to date knowledge of current and emerging UK and EU policies and legislation(current and planned environmental planning legislation, case law, standards and guidance) is important as is project management of EIA & SEA.

Your experience will also cover management of multi-disciplinary teams and subconsultants with experience in Public Inquiries as an expert witness.

Understanding of the application of EIA in the design of public infrastructure is an advantage.

Your experience in preparing major tender documents including financial and resource breakdowns and a track record in key account management, business development and winning new business is important.

It goes without saying that you will communicate well with clients and be able to work alone or as part of a team.
