This is a great opportunity to work for an international multi-disciplinary consultant to the built, natural and social environment.

Currently they are recruiting for a Senior Engineer in waste management to support the Engineering Manager with the delivery of various types of waste management infrastructure (buildings, highways & drainage) to public & private sector clients. To project manage, with an appropriate level of support & supervision, the various stages of site survey & investigation, design, planning, contract document preparation, tendering, appointment, construction management & sign-off. To liaise with other specialists within the local team, the wider WYG organisation and 3rd party providers.

Applicants must have:

Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.

Demonstrable Project Management track record, from inception, thro’ design to delivery.

Technical knowledge of ground conditions, site investigation methods, cost-benefit assessment & options appraisal, portal frame building construction, drainage infrastructure and utilities connections.

A relevant amount of experience, appropriate to the role, preferably gained in both a consultancy and a contractor environment.

Some experience of Business Development and Client management, including preparation of tender bids.
