A leading UK environmental consultancy seeks an experienced business development professional to spearhead ambitious growth plans in London and the South East.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the business development and marketing team with our client. Based in our Croydon office, with some attendance at our central London office, the role is client facing and expects you to draw on your experience within the environmental consultancy market and use your skills and organization to progress our business development and marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and prepared to work with a range of new and existing clients to generate opportunities for proposals, term commissions, projects and other service agreements. A Director or Regional Director (depending on the opportunity) will be actively involved with each of the initiatives at the appropriate stage to help drive them to their ultimate success.

Degree qualified (or equivalent); environmental consultancy experience essential, experience of working in a multi-disciplinary environment desirable

• Experience of working at senior level in a client facing capacity and demonstrable capabilities in business development, sales and customer relationship building

• Candidates will need to demonstrate a proven track record of moving opportunities forward to ultimate success in the environmental market place plus an ability to work on multiple projects
