Position: Noise Consultant
Salary: up to £30K + exc benefits

Due to expansion a noise consultant is needed to integrate into the Warrington Noise Team, which forms part of Environmental Solutions. You will provide technical input into noise surveys and assessments for environmental noise projects including transportation noise, planning, industrial noise and noise associated with renewable energy.

You will provide support to the existing noise team in the organisation and carrying out of noise and vibration surveys for a range of environmental noise projects.

Carrying out of noise and vibration calculations and assessments will be in line with CRTN, CRN, DMRB, PPG 24, BS4142, IPPC, ETSU-R-97, BS5228). Carrying out computer based noise modelling (for example NoiseMap, WindPro, IMMI).

Good Report writing,communication skills, numeracy and MS Excel skills are needed.

You will have experience in noise and vibration surveys. Experience in noise calculations and assessment would be desirable but are not considered essential as they could be taught.

Driving license is essential with at least 2 years experience of noise and vibration surveys in environmental consultancy or similar.

Experience of noise calculation and assessment using CRTN, DMRB, PPG24, BS4142. Experience in computer based noise modelling or similar.
