Our Client has been significantly enhancing its ecological consultancy capabilities, and the ecology team now has a wide diversity of biodiversity skills and competencies. The team is now expanding and are now looking for experienced ecologists to fill senior positions within the consultancy team. This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious professionals to join our large team of dedicated and enthusiastic ecologists.

Applicants should ideally meet the following criteria:

Solid experience of applying ecological principles to a range of projects, preferably within an environmental consultancy framework;

Demonstration of project management of significant ecological assessments involving a number of environmental specialists;

Staff management experience;

Substantial knowledge of ecological survey and evaluation methods as applied to a range of taxa;

Experience of protected species mitigation and legal compliance;

Evidence of client liaison, contract negotiation;

Experience of designing, managing and undertaking ecological assessments and/or policy studies; and

In depth knowledge of environmental law, including the Habitats Directive, EU Wild Birds Directive, Habitats Regulations, EIA Directive, EIA Regulations, CRoW Act
