Our client is seeking a candidate with experience of waste technology in order to fill the position of Waste Technologist within our Croydon based Waste Management Team. This is a new position and the person selected will be required to advise clients and project teams on technical and operational matters relating to the treatment and processing of waste.

You will come from a waste management company, technology supplier or consultancy. Candidates should have a background in engineering, materials handling or waste management. Ideally should have experience of one or more of the following:

• Waste sorting

• Mechanical and biological treatment of organic waste

• Composting and anaerobic digestion

• Provision of technical advice on the operation of waste plant and equipment

• Provision of advice on the procurement of waste facilities

It would be would be a further advantage if candidates have experience of one or both of the following:

Due diligence, PFI applications or overseas waste operations
