Job: Hydrogeologist, Beresford Blake Thomas

A major multi-disciplinary international consultancy, is seeking a hydrogeologist with a proven background, to join the strong specialist team of groundwater practitioners. The team is responsible for hydrogeological input to multi-disciplinary projects and for groundwater-specific projects covering groundwater contamination, groundwater resources and groundwater engineering both in the UK and internationally.

The ideal candidate will have a higher degree in Hydrogeology, although consideration may be given to holders of a degree or higher degree in other subjects providing they have relevant experience in hydrogeology.

Responsibilities may include the following:

 Groundwater contamination studies including hydrogeological aspects of site investigations, hydrogeological risk assessment, groundwater remediation design and implementation;

 Groundwater resources investigations including borehole performance assessment, borehole feasibility studies and design;

 Groundwater modelling including groundwater flow and contaminant modelling for engineering, resources and risk assessment purposes;

 Hydrogeological impact assessment and mitigation for new developments and engineering proposals;

 Project management and client contact.
