Principal Environmental Consultant

Purpose of the Job

• Manage the Environmental Management team based in Godalming

• To lead on EIA projects including bids, feasibility studies & associated work

• To liaise and coordinate with the internal & external clients on all aspects of environmental work

• To develop marketing initiatives with a focus on increasing our exposure to potential internal &

external clients

• To develop and promote the environment team in Godalming

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of various aspects of EIA work on a range of EIA projects

• Responsible for predicting and presenting costs for projects

• Manage projects and related tasks to meet prescribed timescales and budgets

• To develop business plans and external relationships with internal & external clients

• To develop relationships with the PB Environment Team overall

• To develop & maintain a level of professional expertise by attending appropriate training &

seminars to aid Continual Professional Development

Financial Responsibilities

• Responsible for development of financial bids and delivery of projects to budget

• Responsible for authorising expenses of team members
