Job: Hydrologist/Senior Hydrologist, Able Resourcing Ltd

A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to recruit a Hydrologist/Senior Hydrologist to join their busy team in their London office.

Areas of involvement will include:

Working knowledge of PPS and PPG 25.

Experience in preparing and peer reviewing flood risk assessments for a range of developments.

Drainage assessments (including appreciation of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems).

Knowledge of hydraulic modelling (including breach assessment).

Consultancy experience in a flood risk role.

Preparation of proposals.

Good report writing and communication skills.

Consultation, liaison and negotiation with the regulators.

Candidates should have experience of the above and have a degree in a relevant subject and ideally membership of a professional body, e.g. British Hydrological Society (BHS) or Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM)
