Position: Consultant Ecologist - Bat Specialist
Salary: £20k-£28k

Our client is looking for a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team of Ecologists based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. The right candidate will be enthusiastic, experienced, motivated to a make a difference and will share our client focused philosophy of delivering high quality professional consultancy services.

Essential

· A sound knowledge of bat species identification and bat ecology

· A minimum of one years and ideally two years experience carrying out surveys with a bat detector

· Experience of surveying roost sites

· A degree in an appropriate ecology or environmental science discipline

· At least two years experience of applying ecological principles to a range of projects, preferably within an environmental consultancy framework

· Driving licence

· Computer skills, including Office software

Desirable

· An English Nature Bat licence would be an advantage
