As one of the world's largest and most diverse providers of professional technical services to industrial, commercial and government clients our client has one of the largest and most successful contaminated land teams across the UK. They are looking for an experienced Contaminated Land specialist to join the expanding team based in Birmingham to continue othe focus on building relationships and delighting clients.

The role would involve managing and providing technical support to a range of contaminated land projects for both public and private sector clients, including Part IIA work for local authorities and private development projects. They are currently involved in design of the remedial works and implementation of remedial works for several sites identified by local authorities under Part IIA.

Responsibilities

You should be able to demonstrate an established track record of undertaking contaminated land projects within a consultancy or client environment. You will have a relevant degree in geology, chemistry, environmental science or engineering and ideally a relevant MSc, such as hydrogeology or environmental engineering. You will be highly motivated with excellent project management skills and an eye for technical detail. The role will involve frequent liaison with clients and regulators therefore strong communication and negotiating skills are essential.
