Job: Senior Hydrologist, Able Resourcing Ltd

A leading consultancy is looking to recruit a Hydrologist to join the Environmental Team based in their Manchester office.

The successful candidate will complement the existing team and assist in the development of flood risk assessment capabilities in the north west of England.

Relevant experience should include:

• Working knowledge of PPS25 and TAN15
• Experience in preparing flood risk assessments for a range of developmentsDrainage assessments (including appreciation of sustainable urban drainage systems)
• Knowledge of hydraulic modeling
• Consultancy experience in a flood risk role
• Preparation of proposals
• Good report writing and communication skills
• Consultation, liaison and negotiation with the regulators

Candidates should have experience of the above and have a degree in a relevant subject and ideally membership of a professional body, e.g. British Hydrological Society (BHS) or Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM)
