Job: Principal Environmental Consultant, Macdonald & Co

Purpose of the Job

· To lead on EIA projects including bids, feasibility studies & associated work

· To liaise and coordinate with the internal & external clients on all aspects of environmental work

· To develop marketing initiatives with a focus on increasing our exposure to potential internal & external clients

· To develop and promote the environment team in Godalming

Main Responsibilities

· Responsible for the preparation of various aspects of EIA work on a range of EIA projects

· Responsible for predicting and presenting costs for projects

· Manage projects and related tasks to meet prescribed timescales and budgets

· To develop business plans and external relationships with internal & external clients

· To develop relationships with the PB Environment Team overall

· To develop & maintain a level of professional expertise by attending appropriate training & seminars to aid Continual Professional Development

Financial Responsibilities

· Responsible for development of financial bids and delivery of projects to budget

· Responsible for authorising expenses of team members
