This role is at a multidisciplinary environmental consultancy with a broad range of public and private sector clients. Based in London, the company employs in excess of 60 staff and is expanding to meet growing demand for its services. Hydrological projects include breach analysis and fluvial flooding risk assessment.

A vacancy has arisen which would suit a well qualified and ambitious hydrologist to grow and manage the hydrological department and its services provided by the company, including Flood Risk Assessment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience. They will be responsible for the day-to-day management of existing projects, client liaison and the development of new business. Experience in the practical application of flood-based hydraulic models (preferably MIKE 11) and the Flood Estimation Handbook techniques are required and the candidate should have a firm appreciation of river mechanics and hydraulic modelling.
