This excellent opportunity is at a multidisciplinary engineering practice that operates throughout the UK, Europe and the USA. Projects include low and high-rise buildings, brownfield regeneration sites, waterside developments, transport buildings, bridges and highways.

The focus of this role is to act as the senior technical and professional representative. In this capacity the jobholder will be responsible for owning, developing and promoting the professional profile of the Group within both its internal and external market place.
The role will include managing and influencing professional standards and developing key stakeholder relationships to secure the highest appropriate professional profile and image for the Group. Additionally the job holder will lead the technical analysis and design contribution on high profile and complex projects under direction of the Associate Director and Group Director. This position is to work under the direction of the Divisional Director to develop staff and assist in recruitment across the group.
Candidates will need to have a minimum of 10 years relevant experience and to be a Chartered Engineer. You will need a high level of technical skill and engineering design flair would be desirable.
It is important to possess a high level of technical or sector knowledge and the ability to develop and maintain client relationships. You will also need experience in building relationships through collaborative problem solving in a multi-disciplinary environment and capable of adapting their personal style appropriately to achieve immediate and long-term goals.
