As a Senior Consultant you will develop and deliver air quality policy projects, oversee technical work, and lead project teams. An element of this role will also be the mentoring of more junior members of the team to enable them to develop their technical and project management skills further.
Ideal candidates will have:
Educated to degree level of equivalent, with a background in air quality policy support within the public sector environment, with previous experience of project management- leading project teams and ensuring customer focused delivery.
In addition you will have a familiarity with air quality consultancy tools- such as emission inventories, dispersion modelling, Local Authority review and assessment or cost-benefit analysis, along with an understanding of the air quality issues in the UK and EU associated with a particular sector e.g. power generation, industry, transport etc. or at a particular geographical scale e.g. Local Authorities or Devolved Administrations.
Some knowledge of atmospheric chemistry and atmospheric physics would be advantageous
Although not an essential part of this role, we would welcome candidates who have an active interest in business development within this field and looking to broaden their experience with a prestigious environmental consultancy whos work is highly regarded within the air quality field.
